• Equilibrium Fundamentals: Introduction to chemical equilibrium, law of mass action, equilibrium constant (Kc, Kp), and reaction quotient.
• Equilibrium Calculations: Solving equilibrium problems, ICE tables, and manipulating equilibrium expressions.
• Le Chatelier's Principle: Shifting equilibrium – effects of changes in concentration, pressure, temperature, and volume.
• Acid-Base Equilibria: pH, pOH, strong and weak acids and bases, Ka, Kb, and buffer solutions.
• Solubility Equilibria: Solubility product constant (Ksp), precipitation reactions, and the common ion effect.
• Thermodynamics of Equilibrium: Gibbs Free Energy and its relationship to the equilibrium constant.
• Applications of Equilibrium Principles: Industrial processes and environmental applications of equilibrium chemistry.
